I am clearly terrible at blogging this time around. I honestly thought I was just on here the other day and now I look and it was OVER A WEEK AGO?? Things are good here. Bella is settling in here with her cousins. Lu as far as I know is ok- my old roommate hasnt given me many updates on him. He did get out of the house last week but wandered back to the patio a few hours later (I'm hoping because he knows where he lives but I also suggested to the old roommate that she put his litter box outside as the smell is suppose to help cats find their way home). Work is going really well I think! I'm fairly confident in doing most things and my coworkers are all great about helping with things I'm not sure about. I did make a mistake a few days ago that came up today- but in truth I dont know if that was me or if it was because the computer had been acting funky that day. I have been failing at posting every day and for that I am sorry! Today was my second day working at the library. Basically I spent four hours doing training on spotting and reporting child abuse. Basically the most important thing is that it is important to report if you think there is a chance of abuse in any form. If there isnt you wont get in trouble and the proper authorities will make sure that no one gets in trouble for being reported in the first place. There are two kinds of people who can report something. Mandatory reporters are people who are required by law to report something. Now that I have been trained I am one. I'm hoping I never have to. But anyone who has been trained and is in a posistion where they are around kids basically has to. The other kind is permissive reporter. Basically they arent legally bond to report anything but it is strongly encouraged- nothing will happen if they dont except knowing that they could have stopped some kid from being hurt...
